Bed and Breakfast and Events policies

• Check-in: 3:00 PM- 4:00 PM. If arriving out of check-in time, please call to make arrangements for a late self check-in. (Note: Check-in later than 10 pm will only be guaranteed when prearranged. )

• Check-out: 11:00 AM.

• Major Credit cards accepted. Bank charges fee for NSF checks $35. If paying cash, please request a receipt.Reservations guaranteed by full payment. Payments are non refundable but may be applied to a new date.

• The Outing Lodge is a historic property with 7 suites. For this reason, every reservation is important for our business. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.

• Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for cancelled reservations.

• Cancellations with less than (7) seven days notice, holiday or high impact dates – such as Valentines week or event nights, will forfeit all payments.

• When rooms are reserved for special events, such as private events or weddings, cancellations will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

• We are happy to accommodate children in our larger suites (# 1, 3,#6 only). Please, inform our main desk at least one (1) day prior to check-in,  to make the needed arrangements.

• If you are doing your reservation by phone or online, note that your reservation will not be confirmed until paid and entered in our reservation system. When you receive a confirmation via email with a reservation number,  please, see the description of your suite with details of bed sizes and spaces.

• When more than 2 guests occupy a suite, there is a $30 fee per extra adult guest. Children under 10 years old pay only 1/2 ($15.00)

• Pets allowed with $40.00 charge ONLY in the Pablo Picasso suite. Renters are responsible for damages or pets’ related extra cleaning needs. Charges will apply for extra cleaning. Guest must sign a “pet” form and follow house rules for pets-stays.

• Per MN Law, no alcohol might be brought onto the premises, including rooms or parking lot. Alcohol consumed on premises must be provided by Outing Lodge ONLY. Violations of this rule means earlier termination of stay or event and subsequent penalties. The Lodge reserves the right to inspect the suites and parking lot, and call law enforcement  when policies are not followed.

• Renters are liable for damages to The Outing Lodge’s property. Absolutely No Smoking inside the house; designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Smoking in your room will result in a mandatory $100 cleaning fee.

• Use of oils in bathtubs,  rose petals, confetti, etc. or brought-in candles will result in additional cleaning or damage fees.

• Rates are subject to change and may vary during high impact periods or events dates.

• Print coupon and call with coupon number and credit card to reserve the suite. Coupons are not valid on holidays or event nights (theme dinners, weddings, birthday parties, or any other event night). Must pay tax with a credit card at the time of the reservation. Reservations cancelled up to 7 (seven) days in advance can be re-scheduled for a new date. Reservations cancelled after 7 (seven) days advance notice will forfeit voucher: 100% of reservation is charged to your account, as if the suite had been occupied by you.

• You must present your printed coupon at check-in, otherwise the credit card on file will be charged the regular rate.

• If  you have a voucher must call our main line to place your reservation. You will not be able to book online with a voucher.

• Print coupon and call with coupon redemption code and credit card to reserve the suite.

• Coupons are not valid on holidays or event nights (theme dinners, weddings, birthday parties, or any other event night).

• Reservation must pay tax with a credit card at the time of booking the reservation.

• Reservations cancelled up to 7 (seven) days in advance can be re-scheduled for a new date, ONLY with an additional card payment of 50% of the voucher’s value.

• Reservations cancelled after 7 (seven) days advance notice, forfeit 100% of voucher value and will not be able to re-schedule.

• You must present your printed coupon at check-in to pay for your discounted stay; if you do not bring your printed voucher,  your credit card  will be charged the regular rate of the stay.

• A Voucher reservation can only be placed up to 45 days in advance. Please, note: we will not accept voucher reservations if they are for a date that is more than 45 days away. A voucher deal is valid for SOME of the suites and the value of the voucher has an expiration date; please read your voucher and see our rooms’ description and policies  before calling to reserve.
