Bed and Breakfast Policies
Check-in is 3:00 PM- 4:00 PM. If you plan to arrive outside the check-in time, please call to request a late self-check-in. (Check-in later than 9 pm will only be guaranteed when prearranged. )
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
We request a credit card for all reservations.
All major Credit cards are accepted. Standard fee for NSF checks applies. Reservations are guaranteed by full prepayment. Payments are non-refundable but may be applied to a new date.
When you make a reservation, you will receive confirmation via email with a reservation number. Please, see the description of your suite with details of bed sizes and details.
Cancellations : The Outing Lodge is a historic property with 7 suites. Every reservation is important for our business. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for cancelled reservations.
Cancellations with less than (7) seven days’ notice, holiday or high impact dates – such as Valentines’ week or event nights, will forfeit all payments.
When rooms are reserved for special events, private events or weddings, cancellations will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
We can accommodate children in large bedrooms ONLY: suites #1, # 3 & #5.
We do not accept “last minute additions” to the number of guests in a reservation, and this policy includes children. When children are brought in without due notice, our main desk reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Standard charges for last-minute cancellation will apply.
When more than 2 guests occupy a suite there will be an additional fee per guest per night for the extra guests ( adults or children).
We are a dog-friendly facility: fees and rules apply, please inquire before booking. Pets allowed with a fee ONLY in the Pablo Picasso suite. Guests will be charged for damages or extra cleaning needs. Guest must sign a “pet” form and follow house rules for pets-stays.
We do not accept “last minute additions” of “dog/s” in a reservation. When dogs are brought in without being registered in the reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Standard charges for last-minute cancellations will apply.
When a dog is added to a reservation, there is an additional fee per dog per night.
Per MN Law, no alcohol might be brought onto the premises, including rooms or parking lot. Alcohol consumed on premises must be provided by the Outing Lodge ONLY.
Violations of this rule mean earlier termination of stay and subsequent penalties. The Lodge reserves the right to inspect the suites and parking lot, and call law enforcement when policies are not followed.
Renters are liable for damages to The Outing Lodge’s property. Absolutely No Smoking inside the house; designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Smoking in your room will result in a mandatory cleaning fee.
Use of oils in bathtubs, rose petals, confetti, etc. or brought-in candles will result in additional cleaning & damage fees.
Rates are subject to change and may vary during high impact periods or events dates.
