Guest Policies and Event Guidelines

Check-in & late self-check-in

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. If you expect to arrive outside this time, please call to arrange a late self-check-in. Arrivals after 9:00 PM can be accommodated only with prior arrangement. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

A credit card payment is required to make a reservation. We gladly accept all major credit cards. Once paid, you will receive a confirmation email. We invite you to review your suite description for bed sizes and additional details.

 Free Cancellation & Free Parking

Cancellations are free for up to seven days before the night of your stay. Please note that refunds are not issued automatically: you must request a refund when you cancel your reservation. Cancellations received with six days’ notice or less are nonrefundable.

 Additional guest

When more than two guests stay in a suite, an additional per-person, per-night fee applies for each extra guest, whether adult or child. Additional guests may be accommodated in our larger bedrooms: suite #1, suite #3, and suite #5.

We are unable to accommodate last-minute additions to a reservation.

When additional guests arrive without prior registration, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation (cancellation fees will apply).

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests in other rooms.

 Pets

We are pleased to welcome dogs, subject to applicable fees and house guidelines; please inquire before booking. Dogs may be accommodated only in the Pablo Picasso Suite (3).  To ensure proper accommodation, we are unable to accept last-minute additions of dogs to a reservation. If a dog arrives without prior registration, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation (cancellation fees will apply). Additional per-dog, per-night fee applies to canine accommodation. 

Alcohol and Property Policies

In accordance with Minnesota law, outside alcohol is not allowed anywhere on the property, including guest rooms and the parking lot. Any alcohol consumed on site must be provided by The Outing Lodge.

Violations of this policy may result in early termination of your stay and additional penalties. The Lodge reserves the right to inspect guest rooms and the parking lot and to contact law enforcement when necessary.

Guests are responsible for any damage to The Outing Lodge property. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Smoking is allowed 20 feet from the house and away from other guests. Smoking in a guest room will result in a mandatory cleaning fee.

The use of oils in bathtubs, rose petals, confetti, brought-in candles, or similar items will result in additional cleaning and damage fees.

 Outing Lodge Events: Check-In and Cancellation

Reservations for dinners and Outing Lodge events & classes are non-refundable. Note that check-in times vary by event. Please refer to the event description and arrive at the listed start time.
